Our own lines: hulling, shelling, sizing, sorting, finishing.

Processing

What happens between the orchard and the container — and the control points that decide what your production line sees.

Hulling & shelling

Fresh nuts are hulled and separated from leaf, hull and stick on the intake line, then dried to storage moisture. Shelling is scheduled by variety and lot so identities never mix; in-shell nut for retail programs is separated before the cracker.

Sizing & sorting

Kernel moves through screen graders into contract size bands, then through electronic colour and defect sorters that reject damage, discoloration, shell and hull fragments at line speed. What the machines cannot see, the hand-picking line catches: every packing run finishes under inspection lights.

The processing path

  1. 1

    Intake & sampling

Lot identity assigned; samples to the laboratory.

  2. 2

    Hull & dry

Hull removal and drying to target moisture.

  3. 3

    Shell & size

Cracking, de-shelling, screen grading to contract bands.

  4. 4

    Sort & finish

Optical sorting, blanching and cutting where specified.

  5. 5

    Inspect & pack

Hand inspection, metal detection, X-ray, export packing.

Value-added formats

In-house: blanching (steam or dry), slivering, slicing and dicing to specified geometry, and paste-grade milling for confectionery programs. Formats are produced to order, never held as anonymous stock.
